1. How did you get into the cake business?

Several years ago, I started working with a caterer and became quite intrigued with the baking and construction of the wedding cakes. I enjoy the challenge and creativity of each cake. Each cake is designed to reflect the bride’s personality. It is our goal to have a beautiful cake that also tastes wonderful.

2. How long have you been in business?

I have been working in the catering/cake business for over fifteen years. My
husband, and I established Vintage Cakes and Catering seven years ago.

3. Do you make just cakes?

In addition to cakes, cupcakes, and other delicious desserts, we also provide full service catering.

4. What flavors and fillings do you offer?

We offer the following wedding cake flavors: traditional white, almond, lemon, strawberry, chocolate, marble and red velvet. The following fillings are offered: raspberry, strawberry, lemon & almond. If you don’t see a flavor listed here that you like, just ask, we can do it!

5. What flavor is your best seller:

Traditional white with vanilla buttercream.

6. Do you do both fondant and buttercream?

We only use buttercream; however, we will use fondant as embellishments. There are so many brides that still want that “traditional” wedding cake with
buttercream.

7. What events do you enjoy working the most?

Simply put, “We love what we do!” We enjoy all our events; but weddings are so special! There is just something about being a part of a bride’s dream day.

8. Have you worked with Elliott Events? If so, did you enjoy working with us?

We have not yet had the pleasure of working with Elliott Events; we look forward to the opportunity to do so!
