The Walnut House is a live audio/video production company, and event facility.
The Walnut House is located at 116 North Walnut Street in the heart of Murfreesboro.
Many know of The Walnut House as the premiere recording facility in town and for hosting some of the top local independent bands in concert on the weekends, but the venue is also a great place to host a wedding reception.
The Walnut House offers a unique urban setting, in downtown Murfreesboro.
The Walnut House is a 100 year old building with a contemporary setting but is minimally decorated, allowing for complete control for the event to dictate its own vibe! The Walnut House can provide that extra special vibe!
The Foyer is the perfect entrance for your guests with rosewood flooring and intimate lighting. The Foyer sets the vibe for the unique and contemporary setting.
The Walnut House has two event spaces, the Live Room and the Party Room
Live Room:

Max Capacity: 200
Party Room:
Space: 1,080 square foot
Max Capacity: 125
In addition to the event spaces they offer a bridal suite and private bathroom with shower, VIP area and a kitchenette for the caterer.
All events may accommodate up to 160 guests, have a 4 hour minimum, include 2 hours prior to the event for set-up, and 2 hours after the event for break-down & clean-up
Weddings and Receptions Rates:
-4 hour Reception (up to 160 guests) – 2,500? Reception area with Dance Floor, Tables & Chairs, Green Room, Private Bath, Kitchenette. Includes 2 hours before reception and 2 hours after. – $1200 (Addition of 1,000? Lower Venue is $400)
-All Day Reception (up to 160 guests, 9 am – Midnight) – 2,500? Reception area with Dance Floor, Tables & Chairs, Green Room, Private Bath, Kitchenette. – $1800 (Addition of 1,000? Lower Venue is $400)
-All Day Ceremony & Reception (up to 160 guests, 9 am – Midnight) – 2,500? Ceremony & Reception area with Dance Floor, Tables & Chairs, Green Room, Private Bath, Kitchenette. – $2000 (Addition of 1,000? Lower Venue is $400)
-PA, Lighting, Dual HD Projectors & 119-inch Screens w/ Operating Technician – Available for duration of event.- $200
