Shaquita Quarles is an Associate Planner at Elliott Events. She has always been intrigued by the details that go into planning special celebrations – from florals and invitations to color schemes, designs, and timelines. This former educator spent ten years planning events independently before joining the Elliott Events team.
The skills that Shaquita had honed as a Pre-K and elementary school teacher translated well into the events industry. She handles stressful situations with grace, has a strong attention to detail, and manages complex logistics to ensure that events flow smoothly. She is proud of the passion she pours into her work, her commitment to helping people, and her role in bringing people together for a good time.
Shaquita is valued for her candor, caring personality, honesty, and sincerity, and always finds herself in the midst of creating memorable events for people around her. She loves to coordinate extravagant vacations and wild excursions with family and girlfriends, from the Tennessee mountains to white-sand beaches in the Caribbean.
Other hobbies include cooking, baking, brunching, and wine tasting. Shaquita credits her three littles, Xavian, Jasmine, and MaKayla, with keeping her young through TikTok dances and lots of love and laughter.
