I am so excited about this week’s wedding and couple spotlight because it’s featuring my brother and soon-to-be sister in-law! I have had the great pleasure of helping Jessica and Brandon plan their June 28th wedding at Traveller’s Rest in Franklin. I can’t wait to watch them and our families unite as one! The Proposal: We had friends over for Brandon’s 25th birthday July 6. We grilled out and after everyone was finished, Brandon asked me to get everyone together to thank them for coming (which I thought was funny because everyone that was there comes over all the time!). He went on to thank everyone and then turned to me and said he loved me and was thankful for me and went white. I asked him what was wrong/what he was doing, and that’s when he got down on one knee and said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me! He asked if I would marry him. Of course I said yes and glanced up while I was balling and everyone had their phones out. He invited everyone to our engagement, not his birthday party! It was great! All our friends were there!
How did you and Brandon meet? We met in 2007. We had several mutual friends. He was so funny, and I was drawn to him.. even though I didn’t want or need a boyfriend at the time! haha!
What made you chose to work with Elliott Events? I chose Tiffanie because she will be my Sister-in-law. I’ve seen her work for years, and everything she does is AMAZING! No wedding is the same, and she has such an endless talent for weddings. I can see how passionate she is about this and it was a no brainer!
How has your planning experience been? My planning experience has been very pleasant! I’ve had other friends do everything by themselves, and I know there is no way I would’ve been able to do all this with out Tiffanie/ Elliott Events. She let me chose when I wanted, and she took the design from there.
What are you most excited about? I’m most excited about seeing my whole day come together. I’m excited about Brandon seeing me in my wedding dress and celebrating OUR day with friends and loved ones.
