I met Terry and Asimwe at a Bridal Show last January. They were newly engaged and eager to start planning their May wedding. I can remember Asimwe asking me if it could be done.. planning a wedding in 4 months. They planned on having the wedding on Terry’s farm and had a few other details but were really concerned about the design/ decor and having someone to coordinate the wedding day. Of course I was ready for a challenge and very excited when they shared their color palette with me. Asimwe wanted to have peach and silver and was open to incorporating some other colors. Immediately I knew the direction I wanted to go with the design and it turned out exactly how I envisioned it.
The reception was held at Terry’s family farm in a gorgeous field. The tent was illuminated with light pink lighting and a ribbon/lantern statement piece was hanging from the center of the tent.
For years I have been wanting to incorporate milk glass vases into some of my decor and this was the perfect opportunity. I loved the look of the white against the vibrant color in the flowers.
